Yes swimming is the best, the sport that burns most calories and keeps your heartbeat in the fat burning zone most of the time. Best cardio EVEEERRRR
It burns fat all over your body, and since you move all your muscles while swimming, you are also technically building muscle all over your body too.
I care to disagree with “Doctor” Dan. Swimming DOES build muscle. Any muscle contraction or relaxation will cause the muscle to increase in size.
Swimming requires lots of muscle movement, it DOES build muscle.
I’m a professional swimmer myself

Yes
Swimming is the best for creating muscle, burning fat, and is also the best way to do that without hurting your joints
swimming is good at working a lot of muscles at once, but like running, requires careful monitoring of calorie intake. if you exercise too much and not eat enough, it can creates serious medical problems. my teacher ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks for fainting in the middle of a run
hope that helps
happy exercising

That is a very good question. I would have to say yes. Swimming is a great cardio because it causes you to use all of your muscles and burn those unwanted calories, however that goes without saying, eating healthy plays a large part. However a misconception is swimming builds muscles. Technically this is false swimming does not build muscles only strength training will do that. Regardless swimming is a great excercise to stay fit and healthy… those are doctors orders.

There are easier methods to reduce weight as an alternative to diet and exercising. You can use a supplement that rinses out the pipes, you can reduce up to 20 pounds like this – plus the weight reduces in the desired areas as well! There’s a risk free trial at http://savoly.foodplanonline.info

it’s probably the best cardio exercise but it tones you up.I don’t think it actually builds muscles though
