when you lose weight, you don’t get to choose where your body loses it from. all you can do is target cretain muscle groups to tone up. crunches aren’t as bad for your back as sit ups and they are even less strenuous if you use an exercise ball. cardio activity and diet changes are necessary to lose weight!

well no matter how many crunches you do you WILL NOT lose weight unless you sweat and add some cardio at least 30 min. I know it sucks!!

Sit ups are a myth.
You cannot lose weight in a single location by working the muscles in that location. Working out does not target where you lose fat it targets where you get muscle.
To get rock hard abs requires low body fat…period.
I would focus on loosing fat and you will get good abs.
Situps will help you develop bigger stomack muscles but if you a 6-10% body fat you will be able to see them.

There is a pose called the superman. Lie on you stomach and lift your arms and legs up off the floor. Hold this pose for at least 10-15 seconds and then release. Do as many as you can.

Sit ups are the best, you can’t overwork your stomach. And if you exercise right your back should have enough muscle to support the spine.

Sit-Ups are the best! Don’t over do it try 50 a day then add more as u feel comfortable.
You also have to burn the fat off with cardio like running.
