I think yoga can help you to great extent to lose weight. see one of article—
    Weight Loss By Yoga
Yoga has been around for thousands of years and it isn’t until recently it conquered the western society. In yoga you will learn how to improve your muscular endurance, your flexibility, your balance and your coordination.
    * Stand with the feet together and inhale the palms together in front of the heart in namaste position.
    * Exhale and bend the knees, squatting down. Reach the hips down back as if you were going to sit on the edge of a chair, bringing your weight to the heels of the feet. Do not bring the hips lower than the level of the knees.
    * Keeping the palms together, bring the left elbow to the right knee and look over the right shoulder at the back corner of the ceiling. Use the arms to roll the left shoulder up and back to feel a deep twist in the upper back.
    * Breathe and hold for 3-6 breaths. To release: inhale and press down into the feet straightening the legs and inhale the arms up toward the ceiling
