What Are The Best Exercises To Get Large Muscles To Start Off With?

I’ve just started trying to increase the size of my muscles with 5lb/2.3kg hand weights and I was wondering how I could increase my muscles further.
How many push ups should I do at a time to start off with?
is there anything else I can do to increase them?

    If you are below 25 years of age, you muscle with immediately increase within few weeks of weight training and diet. Try to train atleast thrice a week. First day do 20 minutes of cardio and then weight train the upper body and then finish with another 15-20 minutes of cardio. Eat heavy before you weight training and again eat within one hour of weight training. Second day repeat the same as the first day with Lower body weight training. Cardio before and after the weight training is very important if wish to have a athlectic body rather then being a body-builder. Streching is also very important after your weight training, it will help you increase your musle mass. More then exercise diet is very important, try to eat natural protein then depending on whey protein. Finish the third day with combination of intensive cardio. Rest on fourth day. Push-ups are good to keep you chest, triceps and upper back in shape. Most important guys should workout a lot on legs, if only your upper body is good of build and and you have weak legs then your walk and posture will look girly and you will potray the image of a gay.
