My Work Schedule Is 4 Pm To 1 Am. Any Suggestions On The Best Time Of Day For Me To Exercise?
Everyone says it’s better to exercise in the mornings however with my work schedule, i dont even wake up in the morning. I’m usually waking up at 12 pm and going to bed around 4 am. I know weird right. But what advice on the right time to exercise do you guys have? Lots of my co workers go to the gym when they get off work.
if you still feel fit enough after work to hit the gym and prefer to be with your colleagues you can do it after your shift ends.. seems you find it hard to go to sleep anyhow but the problem is if you exercise after work you will fall asleep even later.. so if you need to stay awake until 4 am… and finish at 1 am… you would not then go to bed before 6 am.. It’s not good to exercise on a full stomach so either you get dressed into some exercise gear as soon as you are awake and up.. or you have to start to go to bed earlier … like at 2.30 am.. and get up at 10.30 am.. then you have time for exercise and can have lunch after and still have time to do other things at home which need doing….I would go for that… if you can manage to change a little there otherwise you got no time.. and you can’t go without food…xxx
When they say “morning” they mean when you wake up. So, exercise in your “morning”. When you wake up, don’t eat breakfast right away. Instead take a serving of whey protein and exercise a half an hour to an hour later. After exercising, take another serving of whey protein and eat breakfast. You will get faster results from exercising this way.
If you were to exercise after work it would be harder for you to sleep, given your schedule. Exercising before work helps you to be alert, and that would be your best time.
dont matter whenu do it, just do it! trust me, any execise during any time of the day is better than no exercise at all..do it when its good for u
I would excercise after you wake up and eat breakfast- about 1pm
exercise before work, going after work you will find it hard to fall asleep and your sleeping patterns will be messed up
