What Would Be The Best Warmup Exercises To Do Before Jogging?

My friend and I have decided that jogging on a high school track would be the best thing for our health. Do you have any suggestions on good warmup exercises to do before jogging? I certainly don’t want to injure myself and get discouraged! My goal is to tone up and lose some of my yucky belly fat.

stretch….. before and after your job….
butterflies, toe touches, quad stretchs (pulling your feet up behind you and holding them with your hand), and walking atleast 1 lap to get the blood going…. oh ya.. LOTS of water and potasium(spelling sucks, but eat bananas, will keep your muscles from spazzing out on you)

Walk at a brisk pace for about 15 minutes before you start jogging. You could also try a slow jog to get the blood running. It good to see you understand the importance of warming up and don’t forget the importance of cooling down. Strectching before and after is really important.
